This page has recently undergone a major redesign. The old page, with previous suggestions, can be found at Site Requests Archive.

The purpose of this new page is to catalogue and index ideas for direct improvement to the site and it's associated subsections, with basis and ideas for implementation. As such, addition of new ideas should be done with careful thought into viability and effect to the userbase as a whole.

[done] Add a "resend verification email" link to Forums

People end up emailing Tobin and Yuzo all the time asking for us to activate their forum accounts, since they lost the activation email. This should be an automated process, because as the forums get bigger and bigger, this takes more and more time.

[done] Addition of Forum Rules to "Community" Header

It has been suggested that there is no convenient way for a forum user to check the forum rules beyond initial signup, with their linking having been done in a sticky topic that has since been destickied. As such, a convenient and intuitive means of checking the forum rules (with the current system relying on the user finding them at the very bottom of the wiki frontpage) has been suggested. Adding a link to the "Community" subheader of the current layout would allow for currnet users to easily check them before they post, and for prospective users to ensure they agree with the mentality of the forums before registering.

Ideally, this would fall in with the 'static' section of the subheader - along with the Calendar and Memberlist rather than the user-subjective sections that border it. Opinions from a technical standpoint, as well as criticism of the proposed implementation, are welcome.

  • Enable "sticky" posts functionality on front page so main NT episodes appear at the top
    • Sloth reports functionality to be in place 5/16
  • Create wordpress accounts for all admins
  • Give "noobtoobarmy" youtube account info to admins
  • Start seeding blog/youtube/forum with new UGC videos every week/day
